Cambridge NCI Cricket Club

We’re an inclusive, diverse and welcoming club providing opportunities for all to play competitive and recreational cricket across a broad range of abilities. Our home grounds are two of Cambridge’s most iconic: Parker’s Piece and Fitzwilliam College. Our teams are made up of long-term Cambridge residents, short-term visitors to the city, students and even retirees.

Autumn nets 2018

We're running some informal nets for people who want to play some cricket before the Winter Nets start. They're at Hills Road Sports and Tennis Center on Purbeck Road, on Wednesdays in the Autumn, 8pm, starting on October the 3rd. If you plan to come, you're all welcome. Please email the club address to let us know.

NCI are proud to be sponsored by the Blue Moon/Cambridge Blue public houses

The Cambridge Blue is a real ale paradise and free house near Mill Road, serving several thousand different guest ales over the years.

The Blue Moon although young, has quickly become a popular nightspot, and we'll be joining them there each Saturday in the summer...

NCI stands for...

New Chesterton Institute.  It dates back to the 1880s.  It was a club for Cambridge town people to come together and play various sports.  It still exists on Holland St in Chesterton, Cambridge, and all paid up cricket club members automatically become NCI club members, which gives them access to snooker tables, other sports and cheap beer.
